BNP Paribas Investment Banking CEE team is based in Warsaw, Paris, Prague and Vienna and is responsible for origination and execution of transactions across the region and various sectors. BNP Paribas was named the CEE M&A Advisor of 2018 and 2020 by Mergermarket.

JOB DESCRIBTION

Real on-the-job experience in investment banking with responsibility right from the start by:

  • Participating in live M&A transactions as a deal team member
  • Supporting preparation and development of financial models and valuations (DCF, multiples-based valuation, LBO, etc.)
  • Being responsible for transaction support in execution (managing and maintaining virtual data rooms, investors’ Q&A, support in drafting transaction materials: teasers, IMs, management presentations, valuation reports, etc.)
  • Supporting team marketing activities (drafting pitch books, preparing Client materials and company profiles, etc.)
  • Assisting in conducting market research as well as in business and financial analysis

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE

  • A well-rounded academic background, ideally in Finance, Economics, Management, Quantitative Methods;
  • High level of technical skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Strong quantitative skills, with prior financial modelling and valuation experience being advantageous;
  • Previous internship experience in M&A / ECM could be advantageous;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English;
  • Fluent in Polish – any other CEE language could be advantageous.
