In your role as SAP MM Procurement Consultant, your focus is on the implementation and optimization of SAP systems for our mostly medium-sized customers.

• You advise our customers on all aspects of SAP Sourcing & Procurement / Materials Management / MM.
• You support our customers in transforming their strategic and operational procurement processes.
• You play an active role in the further development of our procurement solutions capabilities.
• You evaluate the feasibility of new customer requests and requirements, develop tailored concepts and implement them with SAP.
• You work closely with our customers on every step of their way towards S/4HANA.
• You support the acquisition of new clients and projects by identifying new business opportunities.
• You actively participate in trainings in your focus areas to keep your knowledge up-to-date.
• Depending on the respective volume and complexity, you manage above tasks individually or as a member of a project team.

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

• You hold a degree in business informatics or a comparable course of study or you have completed relevant vocational training. Ideally, you already have several years of professional experience in the field of purchasing / procurement.
• Ideally, you have 3-5 years of work experience with SAP MM / SAP Sourcing & Procurement and have been involved in consulting projects in this area.
• Experience with SAP Ariba and / or SAP Business Networks would be an advantage but are not a hard requirement
• You are very familiar with the purchasing, supply chain and billing processes in companies. As a plus, you have a good understanding of the processes in related areas such as Ariba, SD, (e)WM and knowledge of workflow and interfaces such as EDI as well as purchasing portals.
• You demonstrate a client-led service mentality, a confident and professional manner as well as  excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
• You are proficient in English and ideally you also have some knowledge of German.
• You are a team player and willing to travel.
