Group Sustainable Procurement Expert

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and validate suppliers to ensure alignment with sustainability standards and ethical practices.
  • Conduct on-site/online visits and audits to evaluate the environmental, social, and economic impacts of supplier operations.
  • Identify and manage potential risks and opportunities associated with sustainability within the supply chain.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance sustainability performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, quality assurance and ESG Team to integrate sustainability criteria into supplier selection processes.
  • Engage with suppliers to promote sustainable practices and collaborate on Scope 3 emissions reduction
  • Analyze and interpret data related to supplier sustainability performance.
  • Recommendations of KPIs within Procurement
  •  Implement Sustainable Procurement Policies and ESG Supplier Assessment Questionnaire
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in sustainability especially in raw materials and packaging.
  • Drive continuous improvement in supplier sustainability performance.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for enhancements in processes and policies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sustainability, Environmental Management, Supply Chain Management).
  • Must have: proven experience in supplier sustainability, responsible sourcing, circular economy or related fields.
  • Must have: experience in conducting supplier audits and assessments is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of sustainability standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in sustainability (e.g., CSR, GRI) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with sustainable sourcing software and tools.

Types of Personal Data Processed

We process personal data contained in the recruitment application sent by you, as well as data provided by you and generated during the recruitment process (i.e., during recruitment meetings, competency tests), and also provided in the recommendation of our employee. Your personal data indicated in the Labor Code or in other specific laws (according to the requirements of the advertisement) are processed based on legal provisions or due to their necessity to take actions at your request before the conclusion of the contract (e.g., start date of work, remuneration) and providing them is necessary to participate in the recruitment. We conduct recruitments electronically solely through the recruitment system. Therefore, if you decide to apply to us, we require you to provide an email address. We may also process data contained on Linkedin. Other personal data (e.g., your image) are processed based on your voluntary consent, which you expressed by sending us your recruitment application, and providing them does not affect the possibility of participating in the recruitment.

Sensitive Data

During the recruitment process, we do not request the transfer of sensitive data referred to in art. 9 para. 1 of the GDPR, including health data. If you are a person with disabilities and you consider that providing health-related data is essential for the recruitment process, we will process this data based on legal provisions. In other situations, if you decide to provide sensitive data during the recruitment process, e.g., due to your particular situation, remember that we will only be able to process them if you give explicit consent to the processing of such sensitive data by us. Also, remember that providing this type of data, including health data, is voluntary.

Purpose, Basis, and Duration of Data Processing

We will process your data for the following purposes:

  • Recruitment for the position indicated in your application, based on labor law provisions, the necessity to take actions at your request before the conclusion of the contract, our legitimate interest consisting in conducting and managing recruitment in the recruitment system concerning the email address, and in case of the need to repeat recruitment, or your consent in case of providing additional data, as well as verification of your statements contained in the application or submitted during the recruitment process, in particular your competencies, e.g., information about your knowledge and skills obtained based on competency tests, recommendations of our employee or collected from Linkedin, by us or our cooperating recruitment agency, in the performance of legal obligations or our legitimate interests; for the period necessary to conduct the recruitment process and select a candidate, and then for a period of 3 months, in case we need to repeat the recruitment;
  • Recruitment for other similar positions at Stock Polska for a period of 1 year if you give us consent to include your data in our job candidate database; If you have participated or will participate in several recruitments and give consent for us to use the collected data for future recruitments, then - conducting such future recruitment, we can use all data collected about you - unless the one-year processing period based on the given consent has expired;
  • In case of any disputes between you and Stock Polska, to assert claims and defend against claims, based on our legitimate interest generally for a period of 3 years from the end of recruitment, and longer if required by law.

Disclosure of Personal Data

Your personal data may be disclosed to entities processing data on behalf and on behalf of Stock Polska for the purpose of:

  • Providing teleinformatics services such as hosting, delivery or maintenance of IT systems, in particular eRecruitment Solutions sp. z o.o.;
  • Conducting recruitment processes - recruitment agencies;
  • In case of giving consent to undergo a competency test, to suppliers of platforms enabling the solution of tests. We do not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area.

Rights Regarding Data Processing

You have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data, obtain a copy of them and receive information about the processing of your data by Stock Polska;
  • Request a copy of personal data that you have provided to us and transfer it to you or another designated entity in a commonly used, machine-readable format if we process your data based on consent or to perform a contract;
  • Request correction, deletion, or limitation of the processing of your personal data;
  • Object for reasons related to your particular situation to the processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interests;
  • Withdraw the consent given for the processing of personal data at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;
