Your responsibilities
● As part of an agile team, you will assume responsibility for IT Network infrastructure operations.
● You will actively shape Viessmann's path to the cloud. This includes the operation of the network and network-security infrastructure.
● You will develop network concepts and effective security strategies on cloud networks and then implement them in practice.
● Always keep your eyes open for opportunities to automate and continuously optimize the cloud network to meet user demands.
● Problem and error analyses as well as the identification of best-practice solutions and assist in 2nd and 3rd level support.
● Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
● Support in 24/7 IT operations (on-call).
What we expect
● Experience with building scalable cloud networks (ideally Azure).
● Experienced in Network Security (Firewalls, preferred FortiGate).
● Strong skills in Network troubleshooting and analyses.
● Familiarity with cloud platforms (ideally Azure).
● Experience in management of DNS systems.
● Experience in "Infrastructure as Code" tools (Ansible).
● Knowledge of operating systems administration (Linux/Windows).
● Professional experience in the enterprise environment on IT security architectures and the design of IT solutions.
● Bash scripting and basic Python scripting.
● Ability to quickly grasp complex issues and extract relevant information from departmental requirements.
● Team player with good written and spoken English skills - German is a nice to have.
