Requirement Engineer ADAS and DMS
Location: Kraków
Responsibilities:
The Requirement Engineer understands the needs of the automotive customers and translates them into actionable requirements for the functional disciplines - e.g. electrical, mechanical, software etc. and validates that the end product meets what the customer expected.
- Evaluation of customer specifications and classification of stakeholder requirements.
- Support system engineer tool evaluation.
- Develop automated statistics to analyze project progress.
- Support creation of system requirements of Automotive ADAS and DMS products.
- Develop system documentation following system engineering process (V-Model, ASPICE)
- Support cross functional technical workshops including requirements review
- Maintain project documentation, such as:
- System requirements specification
- System test plan
- Other documents, as needed
- Arrange review meeting to agree and align content and resolve change requests among stakeholder
- Support hardware and software engineering in establishing traceability to System Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience with Requirement/Systems engineering in the automotive industry or other areas of automotive embedded ECU development and integration (HW, SW, Test),
- Automotive Background required
- Strong communication skills in visualization and verbal explanation.
- Strong knowledge on requirement engineering process (ASPICE)
- Willingness to work independently but also to engage with the development team on a regular basis
- Knowledge in hardware, software and mechanical design processes and validation preferred.
- High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
- Recognizable empathy, with team spirit, and with high level of assertiveness.
- Knowledge of requirement engineering tools (ex. DOORs, Polarion)
- Some travel maybe required; overtime expected including several evening meetings with global teams
