Responsibilities

• Technical support of the development departments in the design of plastic parts in cooperation with the product engineering
• Analysis of part design by means of demolding analysis and filling and warpage analysis (using CADMOULD)
• Pointing out / documenting of improvement potentials by means of Powerpoint (customer / supplier suitable)
• Follow-up of the developed optimization proposals support of engineering at customer and supplier meetings
• Participation in task force topics

Requirements

• Mechanical engineer, focus on plastics technology in the field of mechanical engineering or automotive engineering
• Preferably experience as a toolmaker or process mechanic for plastics/rubber technology (molding technician)
• Experience in filling and warpage analysis
• Analytical thinking
• International communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of German – an asset
• Technical persuasiveness
• Ability to work in a team
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
• Good spatial imagination
