DevOps Consultant

The DevOps Consultant is responsible for delivering a project and consulting service related to a cloud environment (public, on-premise and hybrid), including the following business domains: DevOps/Infrastructure transformation to Cloud/Cloud Infrastructure Automation. 
You will be working in the Cloud, Security and Automation team based in Poland, being a part of a global Cloud Practice within Predica. You will have the possibility to exchange your knowledge and experience with other consultants, subject matter experts, and architects across the globe in a variety of infrastructure domains such as network, storage, cloud automation, server operating systems (Wintel/Linux), virtualization, etc. 

  • Complete tasks and set priorities without supervision,
  • Estimate the effort required to complete your own work,
  • Break down complex technical matters into smaller tasks,  
  • Supervise technical quality and set priorities for others (Juniors),
  • Participate in meetings with a customer on the need basis,
  • Prepare technical project documentation,
  • Execute technical proof of concepts, UAT sessions, and training/knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Designing and deploying platforms over public (Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCE, etc.) or private (Microsoft Azure Stack, OpenStack) cloud platforms,
  • Infrastructure Configuration Management skills with Azure DevOps, Ansible, Puppet and/or Chef, Terraform,
  • Experience deploying infrastructure with any container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc.,
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Powershell, Bash, Perl, Python, etc.),
  • Understanding of application, server, and network security,
  • Familiar with the overall DevOps philosophy and frameworks (Scrum),
  • Possess version control system skills with GIT,
  • Fluent English.
