Our firmware team is developing a complete smart lighting platform for the leading companies in a broadly defined lighting sector. We aim to deliver end-to-end Bluetooth mesh solutions, enabling wireless lighting control (via multiple protocols), diagnostics, data analytics, remote access, and much more. The team is a cross-functional one, so you will be working very closely with other testers and developers on a daily basis.


  • lead quality process improvements
  • drive the implementation of feature and system tests
  • actively promote good practices and help improve test cases across the whole system
  • design automated test scenarios (including both software and hardware elements using Bluetooth LE protocol)
  • develop testing tools using Python (mainly) and shell scripts
  • perform testing activities (regression, scalability, stress, performance and system tests)
  • conduct automated, and manual if needed, tests of multiple products and projects, including mobile applications, hardware devices (mainly embedded) and dedicated firmware
  • report and investigate issues found
  • lead the creation of test plans and test cases for product
  • participate in test analysis and risk assessment
  • develop test scenarios, prepare test documentation, communicate risks

Essential job requirements

  • hands-on experience in defects and issues management based on metrics
  • hands-on experience in driving quality testing processes
  • experience in developing automated tests (Python preferably)
  • experience in coaching others on the application of testing tools and techniques, as well as in developing new test tools and techniques
  • interest and experience in embedded software verification
  • experience in Continuous Integration infrastructure
  • flexible and self-learning
  • excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and issue resolution skills
  • good written and spoken English

Nice to have

  • knowledge of version control systems, such as Git
  • CI administration know-how
  • Linux, Windows administration know-how
  • experience in programming using C or C++
