Our team is working hard to develop a complete smart lighting platform for the leading companies in a broadly defined lighting sector. We aim to deliver end-to-end Bluetooth mesh solutions enabling wireless lighting control (via multiple protocols), diagnostics, data analytics, remote access, and much more.


R&D Team is responsible for creating documentation and developing code for innovative solutions based on the Bluetooth mesh technology. Contributing to the development of the global Bluetooth mesh standard, the team comes up with unique and out-of-the-box concepts, redefining what’s possible in wireless building automation. As part of Silvair’s involvement in the Bluetooth SIG, team members regularly attend meetings held at various locations across the globe, where the world’s leading technology companies gather to cross-test their latest solutions and together shape the future of Bluetooth mesh.

  • designing and developing new features for Bluetooth mesh
  • maintenance of the existing R&D code and tools
  • code reviews
  • participation in Bluetooth SIG meetings held abroad (mostly Europe and North America)
  • creating technical documentation (if needed)

Essential job requirements

  • very good knowledge of C programming language
  • experience with programming embedded devices
  • experience with real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS)
  • passion for well-designed and documented code
  • English

Nice to have

  • familiarity with low-level radio protocols or telecommunication signaling protocols
  • familiarity with OS design principles, multithreading and asynchronous programming
  • familiarity with communication standards such as BLE, UART, I2C, SPI
  • experience with ARM Cortex-M processors, ideally with Nordic nRF5x
  • experience in the IoT field
